While students and young professionals increasingly prefer entrepreneurship over traditional employment, many of them find it difficult to develop a business idea that appeals to them and that is realistic. In this workshop Vlad Glaveanu, head of Webster University Center for Creativity and Innovation (WCCI) and Edward Boon, faculty member in marketing and entrepreneurship of Webster University Geneva, offer advice how to generate a business idea, and how validate an idea to ensure it is viable. As part of the workshop, participants are challenged to come up with a business idea based on randomly chosen criteria, and to post it online for feedback. The participant with the best idea wins a small prize: A SMOOD gift voucher.
